C4ADS defines publicly available information (PAI) as any data that is accessible publicly, including for free or through subscription or pay per record. This includes property and corporate records from government bodies; trade records about specific shipments between companies; and even aircraft and vessel movement data. PAI is one of the most underleveraged yet valuable data sources. It can help address the most significant global peace and security threats.
